TOURNAMENT RULES (2014-2016)
1. ALL FEDERAL AND /OR STATE FISH AND GAME LAWS ALONG WITH CITY, COUNTY, AND LAKE REGULATIONS WILL BE OBEYED.
2. THE SILVER BULLET BASS BUSTERS CLUB WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY INCURRED IN ANY TOURNAMENT. ANY MEMBER, GUEST, OR YOUTH WHO PARTICIPATES IN A TOURNAMENT SPONSORED BY THE CLUB DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.
3. BLACK BASS, SPOTTED BASS, AND SMALL MOUTH BASS ARE THE ONLY SPECIES THAT WILL QUALIFY FOR TOURNAMENT WEIGH-IN. A LIMIT OF FIVE (5) FISH PER DAY PER CONTESTANT MAY BE WEIGHED IN. EXCEPTIONS ON LIMITS MAY BE MADE IF TOURNAMENT LAKE REGULATIONS DIFFER.
4. ALL CONTESTANTS MUST BE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING OF THE SILVER BULLET BASS BUSTERS OR A GUEST OF SUCH MEMBER(S). GUEST MAY FISH ONLY TWO (2) TOURNAMENTS PER YEAR, AFTER WHICH THEY SHALL APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP AT A REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES SHALL BE PAID PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT OR AT FIRST WEIGH-IN.
PARTICIPANTS MUST PAY THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT FEE REGARDLESS IF HE/SHE FISHES ONLY ONE (1) DAY OF THE SCHEDULED TWO (2) TOURNAMENT, TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR PARTICIPATING.
PARTIAL PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY TOURNAMENT PRIZES, GUEST SHALL PAY THE TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE AS PRESCRIBED IN THE FEES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE.
ENTRY FEE PAYBACK INFORMATION IS SET FORTH IN THE FEE AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE. (AMENDED DEC. 2013).
5. TOURNAMENT TIME WILL BE 6AM - 4PM ON SATURDAY AND 6AM - 2PM ON SUNDAY.
CONTESTANTS MUST BE IN LINE FOR WEIGH IN BY 4PM ON SATURDAY AND 2PM ON SUNDAY OR THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR THAT DAY.
6. CONTESTANTS MAY FISH FROM A BOAT, KAYAK, TUBE, OR FROM THE BANK.
7. ALL FISH MUST BE CAUGHT ON ROD AND REEL USING ARTIFICIAL BAITS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PORK RIND. CONTESTANTS MAY FISH WITH ONLY ONE (1) ROD AND REEL AT A TIME.
8. TROLLING WITH COMBUSTION ENGINE IS PROHIBITED.
9. NO FISH UNDER FOURTEEN (14) INCHES WILL BE WEIGHED. ALL FISH WILL BE MEASURED ON A FLAT SURFACE WITH MOUTH CLOSED AND TAIL PINCHED TOGETHER. ANY FISH UNDER THE LEGAL LENGTH LIMIT PRESENTED FOR OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN WILL NOT BE WEIGHTED AND THE CONTESTANT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR THAT DAY.
10. NO FROZEN OR PALE GILLED FISH WILL BE WEIGHED.
11. ANY CONTESTANT WILL BE PENALIZED ONE HALF (1/2) POUND FOR EACH DEAD FISH PRESENTED AT WEIGH-IN.
12. PROTESTS MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AT THE HEADQUARTERS AT THE TIME OF FINAL WEIGH-IN.
13. CLUB MEMBERS MUST BE PRESENT AT THE LAKE TO PARTICIPATE IN A TOURNAMENT AND/OR PAY THE ENTRY FEE TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR PARTICIPATING.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
1. WEAR LIFE JACKET OR FLOATATION DEVICE WHEN BOAT IS ON PLANE.
2. USE KILL SWITCH, IF BOAT IS SO EQUIPPED.
3. OBSERVE ALL BOATING SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS.

1. FAMILY MEMBERSHIP IS IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS (PARENT, SPOUSE OR CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE).
LIFETIME MEMBERS ARE EXEMPT FROM ANNUAL DUES BUT MUST PAY BIG BASS OF THE YEAR ELIGIBILITY.
AN OPTIONAL $11.00 FOR BIG BASS OF THE YEAR SHALL BE PAID BY MEMBERS INDIVIDUALLY, INCLUDING INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP, AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH YEAR OR WHEN JOINING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR BIG BASS OF THE YEAR.
NEW MEMBERS JOINING THE CLUB LATER IN THE YEAR WILL ALSO PAY THE MEMBERSHIP DUES OF $35.00 AS LISTED IN THIS SECTION WITH THE OPTIONAL $11.00 FOR BIG BASS OF THE YEAR.
ALL MEMBERS MUST PAY THE OPTIONAL $11.00 AT TIME OF JOINING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR BIG BASS OF THE YEAR.

NOTE:(MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 OR CURRENTLY ACTIVE IN ANY UIL ACTIVITY, MAY NOT RECEIVE CASH PAYMENT FROM THIS CLUB AND SHALL HAVE GIFT CARDS OF NO MORE THAN $50.00 PRESENTED DEPENDING ON HOW THEY FINISH IN A TOURNAMENT.
SHOULD ONLY ONE (1) CONTESTANT WEIGH-IN FISH, THEY WILL RECEIVE ALL MONIES FOR 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PLACE. SHOULD ONLY TWO (2) CONTESTANTS WEIGH-IN FISH AT A TOURNAMENT, THEY WILL SPLIT 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PLACES MONIES 60% / 40%. SHOULD NO FISH BE WEIGHED IN ALL MONIES WILL REVERT TO THE CLUB TREASURY.
CLASSIC PAY-OUT SCHEDULE AND INFORMATION (ADOPT TO BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 12/2-13)
THE CLASSIC MAY BE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MONTHLY SCHEDULED CLUB TOURNAMENT. DAILY TOTALS MAY BE USED IN BOTH TOURNAMENTS. NORMAL FEES AND PAYOUTS WILL BE USED ON THE CLUB TOURNAMENT.
THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR FOR THE CLASSIC MAY DEEM THE CHOSEN LAKE FOR THE CLASSIC "OFF LIMITS" FOR A PERIOD OF UP TO 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED TOURNAMENT.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE CLUB'S CLASSIC TOURNAMENT A MEMBER MUST:
1. BE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING * SEE BELOW
2. HAVE ATTENDED A MINIMUM OF TEN (10) CLUB FUNCTIONS, FIVE (5) OF WHICH MUST BE TOURNAMENTS AND TWO(2) MUST BE MONTHLY MEETINGS OR FUND RAISER EVENTS FOR THE CLUB.
A. OUT OF TOWN MEMBERS THAT RESIDE OUTSIDE OF A FIFTY(50) MILE RADIUS FROM
THE CLUB MEETING LOCATIONS CAN QUALIFY FOR THE CLASSIC BY FISHING AT
LEAST SEVEN (7) CLUB TOURNAMENTS. NO OTHER CLUB FUNCTION
ATTENDANCE IS NECESSARY FOR THESE MEMBERS.
THERE IS NO BIG BASS PAYOUT FOR THE CLASSIC UNLESS A 100% PAYOUT SIDE POT IS SET UP BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
PAY OUT ON THE CLASSIC SHALL BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE MEMBERS PRESENT AT THE CLASSIC. IF A MEMBER IS ELIGIBLE AND NOT PRESENT THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY PORTION OF THE AVAILABLE PURSE FOR THE CLASSIC.
FUNDING FOR THE PAYOUT OF THE CLASSIC IS BASED ON AVAILABLE FUNDS AFTER AUDITING THE TREASURE IN DECEMBER AND /OR ANY ADDITIONAL FUNDS THAT MAY BE DESIGNATED TO THE CURRENT CLASSIC TOURNAMENT (SUCH AS SPONSOR MONIES, OR MONIES RAISED AT THE BOAT SHOW, ETC.) ACTUAL AMOUNT FOR THE FUNDING OF THE PAYOUT SHALL BE MINUS ANY CLUB EXPENSES INCURRED WITH PUTTING THE CLASSIC ON, LIMITED TO A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF $15.00 PER ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANT OR THE EQUIVALENT OF A CATERED MEAL FOR THE ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS, WHICHEVER IS LESS AND/OR THE COST OF PUTTING ON THE FUNDRAISER AND/OR PURCHASING PRIZES FOR THE CLASSIC. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING THE PARTICIPANTS OF AMOUNT IN THE FINAL PURSE AT THE CLUB MEETING PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT. THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND TREASURER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF THE PURSE AS FOLLOWS:

CONSTITUTION & BY-LAWS
ARTICLE I NAME AND FUNCTION
SECTION 1. THIS CLUB SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE SILVER BULLET BASS BUSTERS.
SECTION 2. THIS CLUB WILL FUNCTION AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
ARTICLE II PURPOSE
SECTION 1. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLUB WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
A. TO PARTICIPATE IN TOURNAMENT EVENTS AND ENCOURAGE SPORTSMANSHIP.
B. TO PROMOTE CONSERVATION OF THE WATERWAYS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS.
C. TO HOST MONTHLY, TWO (2) DAY TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, JANUARY THROUGH NOVEMBER.
SECTION 2. ALL TOURNAMENTS WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE CLUB TOURNAMENT RULES AS SET FORTH IN A SEPARATE DOCUMENT CALLED TOURNAMENT RULES
SECTION 3. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHALL RESOLVE DISPUTES THAT ARISE DURING THE YEAR INCLUDING RULES MODIFICATIONS.
SECTION 4. PROPOSED CHANGES TO TOURNAMENT RULES SHALL BE MADE IN ODD YEARS AND MAY BE MADE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY ON APPROVAL OF THE MEMBERSHIP.
A. IF BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECIDES THAT AN ISSUE NEEDS A VOTE BY THE CLUB MEMBERSHIP, IT MAY BE PRESENTED AT THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING FOR REVIEW.
SECTION 5. THE TOURNAMENT HOST WILL DESIGNATE THE TOURNAMENT LAKES THREE (3) MONTHS IN ADVANCE BEGINNING IN OCTOBER FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. THE LOCATION OF HEADQUARTERS AND WEIGHING OF THE FISH WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TOURNAMENT HOST.
A. WHEN DATES ARE SET FOR A TOURNAMENT, THEY MAY ONLY BE CHANGED WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THIS CHANGE MUST BE ANNOUNCED TO CLUB MEMBERS A MINIMUM OF THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED TOURNAMENT.
ARTICLE III MEMBERSHIP
SECTION 1. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY IS AS FOLLOWS:
A. ANY INDIVIDUAL OF GOOD CHARACTER IS ELIGIBLE FOR ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP IN THE CLUB WITH ALL PRIVILEGES THEREOF.
B. ALL APPLICANTS FOR MEMBERSHIP MUST BE SPONSORED BY A MEMBER, IN GOOD STANDING, AND MUST BE ACCEPTED BY THE MAJORITY OF THE QUALIFIED MEMBERS PRESENT AT ANY REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING.
C. ALL APPLICANTS FOR MEMBERSHIP, UPON ACCEPTANCE INTO THE CLUB, MUST PAY AT LEAST THE $25.00 MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR THE YEAR.
D. A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING IS:
ANY MEMBER, NOT ON PROBATIONARY, STATUS THAT HAS PAID ALL CURRENT MEMBERSHIP DUES BY THE JUNE TOURNAMENT FOR THE YEAR THAT THEY ARE PARTICIPATING.
1. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR BIG BASS OF THE YEAR, APPLICANTS MUST ALSO PAY THE BIG PASS FEE AT THE TIME OF JOINING.
SECTION 2. ANY INDIVIDUAL MEMBER WHO HAS PERFORMED SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND THEIR DUTIES MAY BE VOTED IN AS LIFETIME MEMBERS BY A MAJORITY OF QUALIFIED MEMBERS.
SECTION 3. THE CLUB SHALL RECOGNIZE BOTH MALE AND FEMALE ANGLER OF THE YEAR. EACH WILL RECEIVE A PLAQUE (OR ENGRAVED PLATE FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENT FOR THAT YEAR.
ARTICLE IV MEETINGS
SECTION 1. REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS OF THE CLUB WILL BE HELD THE SECOND MONDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 7:30 PM AT A PLACE CHOSEN BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND APPROVED BY A MAJORITY OF QUALIFIED MEMBERS.
SECTION 2. SPECIAL MEETINGS OF THE MEMBERSHIP CAN BE HELD AT THE CALL OF THE PRESIDENT WITH APPROVAL OF A QUORUM OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. MEMBERS MUST BE GIVEN NOTICE IN WRITING A MINIMUM OF THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE SPECIAL MEETING DATE AND THE PURPOSE OF THE SPECIAL MEETING WITH BE STATED.
SECTION 3. THE PRESIDENT OR NEXT SENIOR OFFICER MUST PRESIDE AT ALL MEETINGS AND WILL VOTE ONLY TO BREAK A TIE.
ARTICLE V RULES OF ORDER
ROBERTS RULES OF ORDER SHALL GOVERN THE PROCEEDINGS OF ALL MEETINGS OF THE CLUB. A MAJORITY OF QUALIFIED MEMBERS PRESENT (VOTING OR NOT) SHALL BE REQUIRED ON ANY MOTION OR PROCEEDINGS. NO MOTION OR PROCEEDINGS SHALL BE AFFECTIVE TO SUSPEND ANY PRIOR NOTICE OF THE TWO THIRDS (2/3RD) VOTE REQUIRED IN THIS CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS.
ARTICLE VI CLUB OFFICERS
SECTION 1. THE MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF THE CLUB SHALL BE VESTED IN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND SUBJECT TO THE WILL OF THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP.
SECTION 2. THERE WILL BE AN ELECTED SEVEN (7) MEMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND WILL CONSIST OF A PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER, TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR, AND TWO (2) DIRECTORS.
SECTION 3. IN CASE OF ANY VACANCY OF AN OFFICER OR DIRECTOR, THE MEMBERSHIP WILL ELECT A SUCCESSOR BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF QUALIFIED MEMBERS PRESENT AT THE NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING TO SERVE THE UN EXPIRED TERM.
SECTION 4. A MEMBER MAY NOT HOLD MORE THAN ONE OFFICE AT A TIME.
ARTICLE VII MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SECTION 1. MEETINGS WILL BE HELD AS NEEDED OR REQUIRED.
SECTION 2. THE PRESIDENT WILL SERVE AS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AND WILL VOTE ONLY TO BREAD A TIE.
SECTION 3. FOUR (4) MEMBERS OF THE BOARD WILL FORM A QUORUM AND MUST BE PRESENT THROUGHOUT EACH MEETING. NO OFFICIAL BUSINESS WILL BE CONDUCTED WITHOUT A QUORUM.
ARTICLE VIII NOMINATION OF OFFICERS
SECTION 1. NOMINATIONS WILL BE HELD BY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP AT THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED NOVEMBER MEETING OF EACH YEAR.
SECTION 2. A MEMBER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION AS AN OFFICER OR DIRECTOR.
ARTICLE IX ELECTION OF OFFICERS
SECTION 1. THE ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS WILL BE HELD AT THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING IN DECEMBER OF EACH YEAR.
SECTION 2. THERE SHALL BE ELECTED AT THIS TIME BY MAJORITY VOTE OF QUALIFIED MEMBERS CASTING BALLOTS THE FOLLOWING OFFICERS: PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER, AND TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
SECTION 3. ON THE SAME BALLOT, TWO (2) BOARD OF DIRECTOR MEMBERS SHALL BE FILLED BY THOSE CANDIDATES RECEIVING THE TWO HIGHEST NUMBER OF VOTES.
SECTION 4. ALSO ON THE BALLOT WILL BE THE NOMINATIONS FOR SERGEANT AT ARMS, WHOSE POSITION IS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE AN OFFICER.
SECTION 5. THE PRESIDENT WILL BE ENTITLED TO VOTE IN GENERAL ELECTIONS.
SECTION 6. THE NEWLY ELECTED OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS WILL TAKE OFFICE AT THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING IN JANUARY.
SECTION 7. VOTING PROCEDURES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
A. ALL VOTING WILL BE WRITTEN BALLOTS. NO PROXY VOTE MAY BE TAKEN.
B. ABSENTEE BALLOTS WILL BE AUTHORIZED.
C. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE, MEMBERS MUST BE CURRENT AND IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE CLUB.
ARTICLE X DUTIES OF OFFICERS
SECTION 1. THE PRESIDENT, AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE CLUB SHALL SUPERVISE THE AFFAIRS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE PRESIDENT WILL PRESIDE AT ALL REGULARLY SCHEDULED MONTHLY MEETINGS, SPECIAL CALLED MEETINGS, AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS.
SECTION 2. THE VICE PRESIDENT SHALL FILL THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT IN THEIR ABSENCE. THE VICE PRESIDENT WILL ORGANIZE THE YEARLY AWARDS BANQUET AND THE BOAT SHOW PARTICIPATION.
SECTION 3. THE SECRETARY SHALL KEEP THE MINUTES OF ALL REGULARLY SCHEDULE AND SPECIAL MEETINGS AND MAINTAIN RECORDS ON PERMANENT FILE. THE SECRETARY WILL RECORD ALL DECISIONS DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE SECRETARY WILL NOTIFY ALL MEMBERS OF REGULARLY SCHEDULED MONTHLY MEETINGS AND SPECIAL CALLED MEETINGS. THE SECRETARY SHALL HAVE A COPY OF THE CURRENT CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS, TOURNAMENT RULES AND A COPY OF THE CURRENT DUES, FEES, PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND DEFINITIONS, AT ALL TIMES AT CLUB EVENTS.
SECTION 4. THE TREASURER WILL ISSUE NOTICE OF DUES AND ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND WILL COLLECT THEREOF. THE TREASURER WILL KEEP ACCURATE BOOKS OF THE CLUB, DISBURSE FUNDS AT THE DIRECTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND GIVE A DETAILED FINANCIAL REPORT AT EACH REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING. THE TERM OF THE TREASURER IS TWO(2) YEARS.
SECTION 5. THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WILL OVERSEE THE WEIGH IN AND RESOLVE ANY QUESTIONS OF MEASURE. THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS WILL TAKE OVER THE DUTIES OF THE HOST, IF THE HOST IS UNABLE TO ATTEND SUCH TOURNAMENT. THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ALONG WITH THE CLUB OFFICERS PRESENT AT EACH TOURNAMENT WILL RESOLVE ALL PROTEST OR DISPUTES AND THEIR DECISION WILL BE FINAL. IN THE ABSENCE OF BOTH THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND HOST, ANY CLUB OFFICER MAY PRESIDE.
A. THE PAST YEAR TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS SHALL CHOOSE THE SITE AND DATE OF THE CLASSIC TOURNAMENT.
SECTION 6. THE SERGEANT AT ARMS WILL MAINTAIN ORDER AT MEETINGS.
ARTICLE XI COMMITTEES
SECTION 1 COMMITTEES SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AS DEEMED NECESSARY TO FULFILL THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CLUB..
SECTION 2. ALL COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT SUBJECT AND PURSUANT TO APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
ARTICLE XII DUES
SECTION 1. THE ANNUAL DUES OF THE CLUB WILL BE REVIEWED AND SET EACH YEAR AT THE DECEMBER BUSINESS MEETING. THEY WILL BE PAYABLE AT THE FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR OR THE FIRST MEETING REQUESTING MEMBERSHIP, FOR NEW MEMBERS. THE DUES AND FEES WILL BE SET FORTH IN AN ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENT CALLED DUES, FEES, PAYMENT SCHEDULES AND DEFINITIONS.
SECTION 2. LIFE MEMBERS SHALL NOT PAY ANNUAL DUES. THE SECRETARY SHALL MAINTAIN THIS LIST FOR THE POSERITY OF THE CLUB.
SECTION 3. ANY MEMBER WHOSE DUES AND ACCOUNTS ARE NOT PAID IN FULL AS PER ARTICLE III, SECTION 1. SHALL FORFEIT MEMBERSHIP IN THE CLUB AND WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE ROLLS. AFTER ONE (1) YEAR, RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP WILL BE SUBJECT TO REAPPLICATION.
ARTICLE XIII AUDITS
A TWO (2) PERSON COMMITTEE WILL BE APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT TO PERFORM AN AUDIT OF THE RECORDS AND ACCOUNTS OF THE CLUB IN DECEMBER OF EACH YEAR OR AS SOON AS ALL DECEMBER BANK STATEMENTS ARE IN AND CLOSED FOR THE YEAR. EACH YEAR THE CLUB ACCOUNT WILL START WITH A BLANCE OF NO LESS THAN $200.00 BROUGHT FORWARD FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. ALL DESIGNATED FUNDS, AT THE DECEMBER AUDIT, SHALL BE DISPERSED TO THE DESIGNATE OR BROUGHT FORWARD TO ITS DESIGNATED ACCOUNT FOR THE NEXT YEAR.
SECTION 1 DISPERSION OF CLUB FUNDS AFTER ANNUAL AUDIT SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
50% TO THE CLUB CLASSIC TOURNAMENT
30% TO TOP SIX(6) ANGLERS FOR THE YEAR DIVIDED EVENLY
20% BUT NO LESS THAN $200.00 TO THE CLUB TREASURY TO START THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.
NOTE: BECAUSE OF THE NO LESS THAN $200.00 TO THE CLUB TREASURY LIMITATIONS, THESE PERCENTAGES MAY BE ADJUSTED AS NECESSARY.
ARTICLE XIV AMENDMENTS
THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS MAY BE AMENDED BY A TWO THIRDS (2/3RD) VOTE OF THE QUALIFIED MEMBERSHIP THAT IS PRESENT AT ANY MEETING, PROVIDED A WRITTEN NOTICE OF AMENDMENT(S) HAS BEEN GIVEN EACH MEMBER PRIOR TO THE MEETING AT WHICH THE SAID AMENDMENT(S) IS TO BE VOTED UPON.
ARTICLE XV OFFICER IMPEACHMENT
THE MEMBERSHIP MAY REMOVE FROM OFFICE ANY OFFICER OR DIRECTOR OF THE CLUB FOR GOOD CAUSE SHOWN AFTER HEARING UPON THIRTY (30) DAYS WRITTEN NOTTICE AND BY A TWO THIRDS (2/3RD) VOTE OF THE QUALIFIED MEMBERSHIP CASTING BALLOTS. IF THESE PROCEDURES ARE AGAINST THE PRESIDENT, THE VICE PRESIDENT WILL CHAIR THE IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS.
ARTICLE XVI REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP
THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MAY TERMINATE THE MEMBERSHIP OF ANY MEMBER BY A TWO THIRDS (2/3RD) VOTE OF THE QUALIFIED MEMBERSHIP CASTING BALLOTS AFTER THIRTY (30) DAYS WRITTEN NOTICE, AND AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PERSON IN QUESTION TO BE HEARD. ONLY ON GOOD CAUSE MAY SUCH ACTION BE TAKEN. REFUSAL OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OR POLICIES OF THE CLUB, WITHOUT SATISFACTORY EXPLANATION, SHALL BE GOOD CAUSE.
ARTICLE XVII TERMINATION OF THE CLUB
IF THE CLUB SHOULD BE DISBANDED, THE REMAINING MONIES IN THE TREASURY, AFTER SETTLEMENT OF ALL OUTSTANDING DEBTS, WILL GO TO A LOCAL CHARITY AS DESIGNATED BY THE MEMBERSHIP AT THE DISBANDMENT MEETING.
